Tyler Hosford

Tyler Hosford is a Regional Security Manager for International SOS based in Los Angeles, CA. In that role he works with companies based in the Western US that operate around the world on issues of resilience, crisis management, risk, and threat assessment. By partnering with security and intelligence leaders he works to identify the challenges faced by clients and ideal options for the safety of employees and continuity of business operations. International SOS provides clients with insight, preparation, and training to face the ever-changing risks of today’s world. Tyler plays a key role as a client facing representative of the global security team for his clients. Before International SOS he was based in Singapore and then Hong Kong working on issues of workforce resilience and security in the Asia-Pacific region. His early work was with the U.S. Government where he started as a Presidential Management Fellow and then worked on international issues for NASA and the Department of Transportation. 

Tyler graduated with a Master’s Degree in International Security and Intelligence from Texas A&M University. He received a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in History and minor in East Asian Studies from The College of William & Mary. He spent his early years living in Hong Kong and also lived in Madrid, Toronto, and Washington, DC.
